Friday evening swing and blues

An invitation to swing and blues Fridays.

Distinguished citizens, thank you for building our grand society. Our monthly dances have become a valley destination, with some guests driving 3 hours to swing and blues dance in downtown Corvallis.

We are bringing that atmosphere to Friday evenings in the OSU Women’s Building.

Partnering with OSU Blues, we will be dancing every Friday for the academic year. On Friday, September 30 there will be a swing dance [RSVP]. On Friday, October 7, there will be a blues dance [RSVP].

We will continue this pattern through May. On Fridays before a dance downtown, we will have a workshop, lab, or something fun.

Every Friday will start with a lesson at 8 p.m., dancing starting at 9 p.m. Cover will be $5.

Upcoming events

  • Sept 30: First Friday dance at OSU. Swing.
  • Oct 7: Second Friday dance at OSU. Blues.
  • Oct 14: Swing workshop at OSU.
  • Oct 15: Swing & blues dance at Odd Fellows Hall.
