Join us this Saturday, March 7 for our final dance of the winter season.
This month we’ll be celebrating Lindy hop’s roots with a focus on the African American dancers and musicians that innovated the dance in the 1930s.
Our guest DJ is Nick Davis of Track Town Swing, who has DJed at prestigious events such as Herräng (Sweden), Camp Jitterbug (Seattle), Lindy Bout (Vancouver, BC), and more.
- 6:45 p.m.: Doors open
- 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.: Beginner Lindy hop lesson with Bailey Keefe and Lindsey Almarode
- 8:00 – 10:30 p.m.: Dancing to swing music DJed by Nick Davis
We’ll be at the Odd Fellows Hall, and cover for the evening is $7-10, sliding scale.
